- Daniel Edelstein’s Resume: Assists diverse clients with biological services that help them satisfy local, state, and federal regulatory measures. In so doing, I conduct wildlife and botanical surveys for common and rare, special-status species, then develop Biological Assessments, Initial Studies, and EIR/EIS Biological Resources chapters. In addition, I began leading bird outings as a Birding Guide in 1986.

- Marin Audubon Society (on its Conservation Committee since 2001)
- United States Geological Survey (26 years of conducting an annual Breeding Bird Survey)
- Environmental Action Coalition of West Marin (EAC) (lead annual birding tour for the EAC’s annual Point Reyes Birding Festival, which will next occur in April 26-27, 2025)
- Point Blue Conservation Science (formerly Point Reyes Bird Observatory) (conduct annual shorebird survey for the Pacific Flyway Shorebird Survey)
- Serve as a periodic guest lecturer at Merritt College (Oakland, CA) where I taught all of its bird-related classes (beginning in 2003) as an Adjunct Faculty member in its Biology Dept.
